Being the daughter of longtime Vancouver Optometrist Edwin T. Menkes, and having started working for him at the age of 9, Lori brings over 30 years of experience to Brookswood Optometry.
Lori has travelled extensively throughout the world, in particular Africa and the Middle East. She has a degree in creative writing from Bar Ilan University, as well as a masters degree from University of Tel Aviv in Disaster Response Management. After earning a second masters, this time in Sacred Music from a University in the Eastern US, Lori decided to follow in Dad's footsteps, and settle on a career in the Optometric field.
In her spare time Lori creates special effects lenses for tv and film, paints, writes poetry and enjoys time at the gun club.
